FNF vs Whitty (Full Week)
FNF vs Whitty is one of the earliest and most influential Friday Night Funkin' mods, released in late 2020 shortly after the base game took off. It introduces Whitty, a cool, bomb-headed character who loses his temper as the songs go on. The mod's polished art, catchy music and fierce final song helped prove that fan-made FNF content could rival the original, inspiring the huge modding scene that followed.
As in the base game, arrows scroll up the screen and you press the matching keys in time with the music. Hitting notes fills the health bar toward Boyfriend; missing pushes it toward Whitty. Win all three songs of the week to beat the mod.
Whitty arrived at a time when FNF only had a handful of official weeks, and its quality surprised the community. Ballistic, with its frantic tempo, became a benchmark challenge for players. The mod's success encouraged artists, musicians and programmers to create their own weeks, helping turn FNF into one of the most modded games on the web.
Ballistic is the song most players struggle with. A good method is to play it on Easy until you can finish without failing, then move to Normal and finally Hard. Watching the note patterns before they arrive, rather than reacting to each note separately, makes the fast sections much easier. Many players also lower the volume of distracting background effects to focus fully on the music and arrows.
The first two songs are moderate, but Ballistic on Hard is a serious challenge for most players.
