Vex 3
Vex 3 is the third game in Amazing Adam's popular Vex series of stickman platformers. It refined the series' movement and introduced more ambitious acts filled with saws, spikes, moving platforms and water sections. For many players, Vex 3 was their first introduction to the series, and it remains one of the most played entries on school game sites.
Guide your stickman through a series of acts. Each act is a long course with checkpoints. Touching a hazard sends you back to the last checkpoint. Reach the end of the act to unlock the next. The game tracks your time and deaths, so you can try to improve on replays.
Vex games are known for fair but challenging design. Hazards are clearly visible, controls are responsive, and checkpoints keep frustration low. Vex 3 helped establish this formula and introduced ideas that later sequels expanded on. It is an excellent starting point for anyone new to the series who wants to build skills before tackling Vex 4 and beyond.
Vex 3's acts introduce mechanics gradually. Early acts focus on basic running, jumping and wall-jumping, while later ones add water sections, swinging ropes, moving platforms and rapid saw blades. Each new hazard is usually shown first in a safe setting, giving you a chance to learn it before it appears in more dangerous combinations. Paying attention to these introductions makes later sections much easier.
It is a good idea. Vex 3 teaches the core movement that later games build upon.
